Friday Feature Guidelines

We accept submissions on a rolling basis for our Friday Feature series. This digital spotlight celebrates standalone pieces that carry emotional weight, spiritual resonance, or structural risk.

You may submit:

• 1 poem or short prose piece per submission cycle
• Maximum length: 400 words
• Previously unpublished work only
• No simultaneous submissions, please

Send your piece as a .doc, .docx, or pasted in the body of the email. Include a brief (400-character max) third-person bio as well as a high-resolution headshot, if you'd like to be featured with one.

You'll receive a confirmation within 24 hours. Responses are typically sent within 4-6 weeks.

If published, Thistle & Thread requests first digital rights. All rights revert to the author upon publication. We may request reprint permissions for future print anthologies with your consent.
