The Leaving Kind

Available on Amazon Worldwide

The Leaving Kind is a narrative chapbook chronicling the final stretch of a woman’s life as she navigates terminal cancer. Told verse and stark honesty, it offers no euphemism, no tidy resolutions. This collection traces the slow unraveling of memory, body, and voice with unflinching clarity, refusing to dress death in sentiment or metaphor.

Will you sit with her in her final hours?

The 2026 Reflective Journal & Planner

Field Notes evolved

The 2026 Reflective Journal & Planner is a hybrid annual companion that combines structured timekeeping with guided psychological reflection and creative exploration. Each month opens with a dated calendar and a small notes column for scheduling or brief annotations, followed by a sequence of introspective prompts designed to encourage deeper self-examination and personal awareness.

The journal's core pages invite users to engage with questions rooted in psychological insight—and identity through monthly themes. These are paired with creative writing prompts intended to stimulate free writing, poetry, or short-form story telling, with lined space provided for each entry. On months ending with an uneven day, an additional dotted page offers room for doodling or visual reflection. The year concludes with a section of minimal blank pages for open journaling or sketching.

All major lunar phases, solstices, and equinoxes are noted for seasonal context, and the interior design emphasizes quiet clarity with open margins and balanced spacing. The goal is to foster a continuous practice of reflection and creativity while maintaining a functional rhythm of timekeeping.

Created and published by Thistle & Thread Press, The 2026 Reflective Journal & Planner serves as both an organizational tool and a psychological companion—an intentional space to map one's inner landscape across a year of living, questioning, and renewal.

Salt & Ash

To Be Announced

A four-part chapbook series exploring the raw anatomy of grief - it's wounds, its hauntings, its rage, and its quiet remains. Through poetic fragmentation and lyrical prose, this series traces a body altered by loss and survival, where memory decays and something unnamed begins to take root.
